I am an obstetrician/gynecologist who gives up some sleep time in order to read late into the night.  I've always traded books with family members and look forward to this type of book club.  Quite often you cannot tell that I've even read my books so I keep them in good shape.  I'm interested in many different genres.  I go through phases of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, horror but I'll read anything that most people feel is a reading experience.  My favorite authors are John Irving, Nelson DeMille, Pat Conroy and Thomas Wolfe.  It doesn't matter what topic these authors write about, it's always worth the experience of reading them.
